In 1986, Larry and Janie Berg incorporated their small mulch operation in hopes of expanding. Since then, Grant County Mulch, Inc. (GCM) has grown well beyond their expectations, serving customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. GCM products can be found in both high volume retailers and wholesale businesses alike. In 1996, GCM was selected as West Virginia’s Small Business of the Year, an honor that is not easily won. With headquarters located in the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia and manufacturing sites located throughout West Virginia, GCM is ideally located to serve all major eastern markets.
